Our Rochedale Centre.
Our Rochedale centre welcomes children from six weeks to five years across five thoughtfully designed rooms, open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It’s a bright, beautifully equipped space where every corner is made to inspire creativity, curiosity and joy. Outdoors, wooden playscapes, open run-around areas and sandpits invite unhurried, imaginative play. Indoors, safe and compliant open-plan rooms, art studios and quiet reading nooks balance togetherness with calm, all overseen by trained educators. Fresh meals are prepared on-site each day around our Munch and Move-approved menu, and our six learning pillars are woven through every room and routine.

THE DREAMERS
0-2YRS

The Dreamers celebrates the earliest sparks of imagination. Babies are nurtured through gentle sensory experiences, warm responsive relationships and a sense of wonder in every small milestone. Educators speak about children as capable, curious and full of possibility.

2-3YRS
“We Question, We Search, We Discover.”
The Wonderers honours the moment babies begin to reach, point, look longer and show early problem-solving. They are the quiet observers and the curious investigators. Educators offer slow, intentional interactions, encourage exploration and name discoveries with care.
THE MAKERS
2-3YRS
“We Build, We Create, We Make.”
The Makers is hands-on, creative and constructive. Toddlers begin to use tools, materials and their bodies to create meaning. Educators celebrate effort and experimentation, encourage autonomy and offer messy, sensory and constructive play.

3 YRS
“We Paint, We Play, We Invent.”
The Creators celebrates expressive arts, dramatic play and invention. Children begin to combine ideas, materials and imagination in new ways. Educators offer rich creative provocations, space for storytelling and role play, and encourage originality and expression.
THE VISIONARIES
4-5YRS
“We Dream Bigger. We See Further.”
The Visionaries is the leadership room. Children preparing for school begin to see themselves as part of a bigger world — imagining futures, taking initiative and leading ideas. Educators offer leadership opportunities, encourage big-picture thinking and celebrate confidence, voice and agency. The Kindy program is delivered by a degree-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.

What makes Moments Early Learning different from other centres?
We believe children grow through small, meaningful moments. Rather than simply providing child care, we create experiences that build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Our six learning pillars, Move, Mind, Create, Nourish, Discover and Ready, aren’t a framework on paper. They’re the lived rhythm of every single day.
What does a typical day look like at Moments?
Every day is built around our six learning pillars: Move, Mind, Create, Nourish, Discover and Ready. Children move through a rich rhythm of play-based learning, outdoor exploration, rest and mealtimes. No two days are identical, but each has purpose, and your child comes home genuinely known by their educators.
How will my child settle if they've never been in care before?
Starting early learning for the first time is a big moment. Every child settles differently, so we shape a gentle, staged process around each child’s individual development and pace, working closely with your family. Our educators build trusting relationships from day one. We never rush, because children thrive when they feel safe.
What does my child eat at Moments?
All meals are prepared fresh on-site by our own chef, using quality ingredients delivered weekly. Children enjoy five meals each day: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, all based on our Munch and Move-approved menu. We cook with real food, with care, every day.
How do I secure a place for my child?
You can register your interest or book a tour directly through our website. We recommend reaching out early, particularly for our infant and toddler rooms, which fill quickly. Our team will be in touch during business hours. No pressure, just a genuine conversation about your family’s needs.
What qualifications do your educators have?
We have a qualified Early Childhood Teacher as well as Diploma of Early Childhood Qualified Educators leading our learning programs.
Our assistant Educators have all completed their Certificate lll and we have one trainee Educators actively studying.
How do you celebrate different cultures and family backgrounds?
At Moments Early Learning we celebrate the diversity of our families by creating an inclusive environment where every child feels respected, valued, and a sense of belonging. We work closely with families to learn about their cultures, traditions, and languages, and incorporate these into our program through books, music, celebrations, food, and everyday learning experiences.
How do you manage challenging behaviours?
At Moments we manage challenging behaviours by building positive relationships, using calm and consistent guidance, and helping children develop emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. This falls under one of our learning Pillars – Mind where we work on resiliance and emotional awareness. We work closely with families to understand each child’s needs and use individual support strategies to promote positive behaviour while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone.
